Earth Survey project/intro to forum Can't Post

Hello,
Just joined the forum, and wanted to briefly introduce myself. I am living in upstate NY, and have a B.S. in wildlife biology. I have worked as a wildlife biologist, zookeeper, and ecologist over the last 10 years. I am very interested in personal views on the environment, and especially interested in the intersection between religion, culture, and the environment. I have been conducting a short survey about the environment for the last several months, and posting the results on a blog that I have created for the project, http://earthsurvey.blogspot.com I am very interested in gathering indigenous views of the environment, so if any of you would like to participate or know of someone who might be interested (or other groups that I can notify), please let me know, and I will send a copy of the survey. Thanks very much!

Regards,
Jeremy

Earth Survey Project - Update [In reply to] Can't Post

For those of you who are interested, I wanted to give you a brief update about my Earth Survey project. To date I have gotten back more than 500 responses to my questionnaire, which I am continuing to post on my blog for now, although at some point I would like to do something more with the results, such as a book or documentary. I continue to accept results, as this is basically an on-going project, and to help make it easier for people to participate, I have created an online version of the survey. For anyone who has not taken part and would like to, you can submit your answers to my questionnaire at http://tinyurl.com/nx4ng7 I am hoping that by making the survey available online, I will greatly increase participation in the project, which I have been working on for more than 3 years now. Feel free to forward this to others who you think might be interested. I am really interested in getting responses from a wide cross-section of society, and am interested in the interactions between society/culture, religion, and nature/the environment. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or comments you would like to share, and I would welcome your responses to my questionnaire if you have not already taken part.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Re: [jeremyjtaylor] Earth Survey Project - Update [In reply to] Can't Post

Hello Jeremy, I am from Alberta, Canada and I worked for a long time in traditional land use study. It would be good to get a big response and follow up with a documentary or something like that. I am a freelance writer for many of the national native papers here in Canada. If you think there's a story in your results let me know and we may be able to work together on a story to gain even more support. I will include a link to your survey on my site, it is not that busy but still...

And for anyone who hasnt taken this survey yet, it is not that big or daunting, very easy to fill out online.
